When Småstaden opened its doors in the autumn of 1989, it became Piteå’s first and largest unified shopping experience. Curious locals gathered to see the new building, designed with inspiration from historic architecture.
Café Röda Lyktan was one of the originals. Karina and Ulla stood there, busily preparing pastries and baguettes.

A few years ago, it was time to take the next step. Röda Lyktan Gallerian was born, right in Piteå’s second shopping centre. The same concept, but with a fresh twist. A new kitchen made room for new dishes and a renewed menu.
