Turandot - Live from MET

The Ukrainian soprano Liudmyla Monastyrska has previously performed Turandot at the Ukrainian National Opera and at the Bolshoi. After Anna Netrebko withdrew from this and the next opera season from Met, Liudmyla Monastyrska takes on the title role Turandot at Met, in Franco Zeffirelli's classic production.

Yonghoon Lee is the prince who wants to win the icy princess' hand (and not lose his head), and sings the epic opera hit Nessun dorma.

Marco Armiliato conducts Puccini's exciting opera performance.
