When Småstaden opened its doors in the autumn of 1989, it became Piteå’s first and largest unified shopping experience.
Curious locals came to see the new building, designed with inspiration from historic architecture.
Café Röda Lyktan was one of the originals. Karina and Ulla stood behind the counter, busy preparing pastries and baguettes.
There is a cozy, welcoming atmosphere as soon as you enter Småstaden, and many people feel instantly at home.
Röda Lyktan plays a big part in that. Here, friends meet to chat, enjoy good food, and relax in a warm and friendly environment.
