Since 2008, she has been on the country's biggest standup stages and has made a name for herself for her smart, self-deprecating and touching humor. With accuracy and warmth, she jokes about life, the body, relationships and all the absurdities of adult life – always with a twinkle in her eye and a dose of recognition that makes the audience both laugh and think.   The evening is hosted by Erik Moberg, who is now finally back in Piteå! After more than ten years on standup stages around the country – and shows together with names like Babben Larsson and Johan Glans – he is back in Piteå as the evening's host. There will be national teams from many countries who will come to do their best to win! Participating nations: - Sweden (organizer) - Estonia - Finland - Kazakhstan - Latvia - Lithuania - Mongolia - Norway - Poland - Ukraine - USA The Swedish national team was selected through a championship that took place in Piteå last year. This is the first time this type of competition has been organized in Sweden, and the conditions for the competitions have been adapted so that they can finally take place in Sweden. Facts about the 2026 World Championship 22nd World Championship in the series Reigning champion is Lithuania The 2027 World Championship will be held in Kazakhstan Each team has five competitors, one reserve, two national team captains and one delegate. In addition, you have the opportunity to have a staff of assistants with various support tasks. The World Championship consists of three official training days and two competition days where world champions will be crowned in both team and individual competitions. Some of the participating nations arrive a couple of weeks in advance to practice fishing at the competition area. The competition area is then canceled for training on 23 and 24/3. Winter Skies   There will be newly composed music when the Norrbotten Youth Symphony Orchestra invites you to a spring concert on March 29 at Studio Acusticum in Piteå.   Former orchestra member Andrew Harmon-Pantelidis, who is now studying composition at Luleå University of Tech ...Lägg i kalender2026-03-29 14:002026-03-29Europe/StockholmWinter SkiesWinter Skies   There will be newly composed music when the Norrbotten Youth Symphony Orchestra invites you to a spring concert on March 29 at Studio Acusticum in Piteå.   Former orchestra member Andrew Harmon-Pantelidis, who is now studying composition at Luleå University of Technology, has written the approximately 15-minute piece Winter Skies.   The music is complemented in an exciting way with texts written by Karin Boye. These are read out by the reciter Carina Henriksson, opera singer and performing artist also known as GlesbygdsDivan. The piece was composed specifically for the Norrbotten Youth Symphony Orchestra and explores many different aspects of music making – from spoken text and singing to improvisation.   In addition, a piano solo is offered, also here from a former member of the Norrbotten Youth Symphony Orchestra: Elias Xie. He is currently studying at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and will play Norwegian composer Edward Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor.   Not only that. The orchestra will also play a real classic in the form of the entire Nutcracker Suite, written by Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky.   In addition, the brass band will offer a piece of their own: all three movements of Video Games Live - Part 2, arranged by Ralph Ford.   Artistic director Leif Karlsson will conduct.Studio Acusticum, Stora salenContactinfo@studioacusticum.com

Erik has been a comedian for ten years and has gigged with most of the big stars in Sweden, including Babben Larsson and Johan Glans. Erik runs several stand-up clubs in northern Sweden and now he is finally taking the club idea to Studio Acusticum.
