Lägg i kalender2018-02-04 12:002018-02-04 16:00Europe/StockholmSwedish FikaSwedish fika is a social cup of coffee, Swedes prefer not to translate the word fika. We don't want it to lose significance and become a mere coffee break. It is one of the first words you will learn when visiting Sweden, right after tack (thank you) and hej (hello). Fika is much more than having a coffee, it is a social phenomenon, a legitimate reason to set aside a moment for quality time. Fika can happen at any time, morning as well as evening. It can be savoured at home, at work or in a café. It can be with colleagues, family, friends, or someone you are trying to get to know. It is a tradition observed frequently, preferably several times a day. Accompanying sweets are crucial. Cinnamon buns, cakes, cookies, even open-faced sandwiches pass as acceptable fika. It comes as no surprise that Swedes are among the top consumers of coffee and sweets in the world – or that Swedes appreciate the good things in life.Contacthelene@jossgarden.se

The show tells the story of when the cat's birthday, which he is doing three times a year! As always when it's Findus birthday, he want's a baked Pancake towercake. Soon Pettson discovered that the flour has run out and Pettson decides to ride the bike to the store to purchase the necessary items. But - it turns out that there is a puncture on a bicycle tire, and that's where all the complications starts. Everything will work out in the end, and even the neighbor Mr Gustafsson gets invited on pannkakstårtskalaset. 55 minutes entertainment with both music and dance, as an involuntary visit to the well, påhälsning of both neighbor and a runaway bull and a truly involuntary sitting in a basket with eggs! The show is aimed at both children and adults. It is definitely a show that entertaines all together! Her performance was thoroughly enchanting. Now, for the first time ever, Massenet's sumptuous take on the Cinderella story comes to the Met, with DiDonato starring in the title role. She is paired with mezzo-soprano Alice Coote in the trouser role of Prince Charming, Kathleen Kim as the Fairy Godmother, and Stephanie Blythe as the imperious Madame de la Haltière.
