For many families, Children's Day was the highlight of the year. It was a folk festival for both young and old – a day filled with laughter, carousels, candy showers and fellowship. In a time when everyday life was often simple and resources were limited, this day became a long-awaited break and a warm memory for life. The exhibition not only offers unique photographs and objects – during the screenings, visitors will also be able to take part in rare film footage that brings to life the joy and festive atmosphere from Children's Day of yesteryear.
