These are read out by the reciter Carina Henriksson, opera singer and performing artist also known as GlesbygdsDivan. The piece was composed specifically for the Norrbotten Youth Symphony Orchestra and explores many different aspects of music making – from spoken text and singing to improvisation.   In addition, a piano solo is offered, also here from a former member of the Norrbotten Youth Symphony Orchestra: Elias Xie. He is currently studying at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and will play Norwegian composer Edward Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor.   Not only that. Pop Dreams offers anecdotes from the duo's private lives and careers and of course a cavalcade of hit songs and pictures. Many stories evoke laughter and recognition, while several create reflection and new questions about a pop world populated by guys with guitars and undressed girls. For example, where were the brides' instruments on the posters?
