The Canal Swim is a swimming competition held every Walpurgis Eve, in the Strömsund Canal in the middle of central Piteå. Spectators lining up from the start, sausage grilling in the park and a speaker giving a talk down by Tages Bridge. The event starts at 6 pm in the park, takes a break for the swim, then continues. The starting shot for the Canal Swim is 7 pm A warm welcome to another Canal swim, cheer on the swimmers, see who wins and celebrate the talented swimmers and that spring is finally here with us!
