The southern archipelago, near Högsböleskiftet, offers a scenic area with excellent opportunities for both hiking and relaxation. The nearest small boat harbor on the mainland is Småskärsudden, and on site there is a sheltered jetty protected from most winds, making docking easy. Next to the jetty, there is also a small and pleasant beach.

On Stora Renöra, you will find the Piteå Sport Diving Club’s facilities, including a clubhouse, sauna, toilet, and woodshed. The cabin, owned by the municipality, has been renovated by the club and is an important part of their activities. It is also a popular excursion destination for visitors arriving by boat.

The island has fire pits with simple seating, both in the northern bay and on the northeastern side, and the area is well suited for walks in beautiful natural surroundings.

Position: Lat 65°19.168, Long 21°55.734
