Patta Peken includes a number of islands in the outer part of Piteå archipelago and have a rich flora and bird life.

The reserve has many remnants of the old-time fishing.

The islands are scattered in the north-south direction and the distance between the northern and southern island is just over 8 kilometers. There are a lot of birds in the reserve and many of the islands are assigned as a bird sanctuary.

If you would like more information, a map of the area, or have any other questions regarding the regulations for the area, you can visit the Norrbotten County Administrative Board’s website.
