Village to Village: Routes
Blåsmark – Svensbyn 8 km
The red and green sections of the Solander Trail run between the villages. The trail passes below Råmyrberget with its imposing cliffs and on the back of Vallsberget where the multi-sports facility Lindbäcks Arena is located. In Svensbyn, it also runs right next to the swimming area in Lidträsket and the village's heritage area Swensbylijda.
Böle – Långnäs 8 km
The yellow and blue sections of the Solander Trail run between the two villages. At the Piteälven River, you pass the historic tannery in Böle. From the bathing area at Näsudden in Långnäs, you have a fantastic view of Inre Fjärden and the spruce forest along the shore of Lillån is a real magic forest filled with gigantic anthills.
Arnemark – Stridholm 7 km
The blue section of the Solander Trail runs through the forest landscape between the villages. In Arnemark there is a nice swimming area with a rest area next to the trail and in Stridholm there is a rest area on the banks of the Pite River which is also an excellent kayak launch point.
Altersbruk – Bodträsk 15 km or 17 km
The orange section of the Solander Trail runs in a circular loop through the beautiful Alterdalen valley and you can therefore hike between the villages either on the southern side of the Alter River (15 km) or the northern side (17 km). The northern side has sections with very uneven terrain. On the northern side you pass over Jaktberget and along the shore of Lake Brännträsket, while the trail on the southern side goes through both forests and cultivated land and crosses the Alter River twice.
