The Pitholmsleden trail starts on Trädgårdsgatan at Badhusparken, Piteå's largest park, and takes you on a lovely ride across the canal via a high pedestrian and bicycle bridge. Along the way, you pass both Piteå Vandrarhem and Piteå Älvdals sjukhus before reaching the charming residential area of ​​Strömnäs.

From Strömnäs, the trail winds through Södra Pitholm, under Havsbadsvägen and up to Pitholmsskolan.

But the adventure doesn't have to end there - the forest above the school invites you to wander or go for a brisk jog. Here there is a well-maintained electric light trail in hilly and varied terrain, with both gravel fields and marshlands. Despite the forest's natural feel, you are never far from the city, which makes the tour safe and easily accessible.
