Jävre - tour suggestions
Suggested Route – Pite Havsbad to Jävre
This tour starts at Pite Havsbad, or you can extend it by beginning in the city and following Havsbadsleden. The route follows the old Highway 13 to the beautiful village of Jävre, known for its lighthouse and Bea’s Café by the harbour, next to a lovely motorhome site. You can also enjoy a swim at Bunässand Beach along the way.
In Jävre, you’ll find a mill café with a museum, a restaurant, and a grocery store. Don’t miss the listed Tourist Station, which features an exhibition about 1960s car travel and tourism.
The return route goes through the villages Hemmingsmark, Blåsmark, and Hortlax, with several nice spots for swimming. The tour can also be extended via Öholmaleden back to the city. Tip: stop by one of the farm shops along the way!
