The Solander trail - Snowshoetrails
The Solanderleden non-profit association has developed snowshoe hiking trails within Rosfors Ekopark. The aim is to make it easier to find suitable trails to follow in winter with snowshoes and to know the difficulty and approximate time for the snowshoe hike.
In winter, it can be difficult to follow traditional hiking trails when you can't see the trail itself due to the snow cover, and even trail markings are often so sparse for summer trails that it can also make it difficult to follow the trails in winter.
Special snowshoe hiking trails have significantly denser trail markings so that it is clear where the trail goes even if it is untracked. This provides security when hiking.
To make it easier for snowshoe hikers to assess a trail or trail, the Solanderleden non-profit association has further developed the traditional trail grading and adapted it for snowshoe hiking, divided into five difficulties.
