Pithoursträsket

Pithoursträsket is a popular fishing lake located midway between Yttersta and Storsund, visible from the road.

Here you can fish for rainbow trout, trout, char, pike and perch. The supply of fish is large. During the summer months, fish are stocked every other week. There are no fishing premieres here, but the lake is open for fishing all year round.

There is a small caravan park by the lake. A ramp runs from the park to a small terrace by the lake that is built to make fishing possible for those in wheelchairs.

Around the lake there are bivouacs and fireplaces. There is also a heating cabin that is open to the public.
