Fingermanholmen trail

Hike of 1-3 km. Near the city of Piteå, in Inrefjärden, is the islet where there was a steam saw around the turn of the last century. The island is a ridge with sand and gravel brought here by the Piteälven during the Ice Age. Here you can see many traces of human work, not only from the sawmill but also gravel pits, coal mines and tar valleys. Here there is a network of paths in beautiful nature as well as a jetty, swimming beach, sauna, fireplace and outdoor toilet.
