Summer:
Long bright days with midnight sun in June–July. Daytime temperatures often reach 25–30°, especially at Pite Havsbad beach.
Because of the latitude, even in summer or during periods of mild weather, mornings and evenings can be quite cool. Layers are useful. The sky changing from cloudy (or rainy) to partly sunny in the afternoon is quite typical in this region.The daylight hours vary a lot by season: in summer, it stays light very late; in winter, daylight is short.
