The headliner this time is none other than Karin Adelsköld – one of Sweden's most beloved comedians. Since 2008, she has been on the country's biggest standup stages and has made a name for herself for her smart, self-deprecating and touching humor. With accuracy and warmth, she jokes about life, the body, relationships and all the absurdities of adult life – always with a twinkle in her eye and a dose of recognition that makes the audience both laugh and think.
The evening is hosted by Erik Moberg, who is now finally back in Piteå! After more than ten years on standup stages around the country – and shows together with names like Babben Larsson and Johan Glans – he is back in Piteå as the evening's host. Erik is playing clubs all over northern Sweden, and now it's time for StandUp Acusticum to get a big dose of Moberg energy.
Together with other comedians, they offer a fast-paced evening filled with laughter, warmth and a wonderful atmosphere.
The concert hall café and bar opens at 6:00 PM and the show starts at 7:00 PM.

The Swedish national team was selected through a championship that took place in Piteå last year. This is the first time this type of competition has been organized in Sweden, and the conditions for the competitions have been adapted so that they can finally take place in Sweden.
Facts about the 2026 World Championship 22nd World Championship in the series Reigning champion is Lithuania The 2027 World Championship will be held in Kazakhstan Each team has five competitors, one reserve, two national team captains and one delegate. In addition, you have the opportunity to have a staff of assistants with various support tasks. The World Championship consists of three official training days and two competition days where world champions will be crowned in both team and individual competitions. Some of the participating nations arrive a couple of weeks in advance to practice fishing at the competition area. The competition area is then canceled for training on 23 and 24/3.
The World Championship was held in the USA in 2025.

There will be newly composed music when the Norrbotten Youth Symphony Orchestra invites you to a spring concert on March 29 at Studio Acusticum in Piteå.
Former orchestra member Andrew Harmon-Pantelidis, who is now studying composition at Luleå University of Technology, has written the approximately 15-minute piece Winter Skies.
The music is complemented in an exciting way with texts written by Karin Boye. These are read out by the reciter Carina Henriksson, opera singer and performing artist also known as GlesbygdsDivan. The piece was composed specifically for the Norrbotten Youth Symphony Orchestra and explores many different aspects of music making – from spoken text and singing to improvisation.
In addition, a piano solo is offered, also here from a former member of the Norrbotten Youth Symphony Orchestra: Elias Xie. He is currently studying at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and will play Norwegian composer Edward Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor.
Not only that. The orchestra will also play a real classic in the form of the entire Nutcracker Suite, written by Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
In addition, the brass band will offer a piece of their own: all three movements of Video Games Live - Part 2, arranged by Ralph Ford.

For over 25 years, he has entertained the Swedish people through his work as a comedian, host and actor. Jakob comes to Studio Acusticum Standup together with a new audience favorite – Christoffer Jonsson from Umeå, who in addition to stand-up also does the podcast Oknytt. There he goes through murders and exciting stories from all over the world but in a humorous way.
At Piteå's own stand-up club this spring, it is Erik Moberg who holds the concept together. Erik has been a comedian for ten years and has gigged with most of the big stars in Sweden, including Babben Larsson and Johan Glans. Erik runs several stand-up clubs in northern Sweden and now he is finally taking the club idea to Studio Acusticum. It will be an evening with three humorous gentlemen who are guaranteed to offer a laugh out loud!

This concert is for those who are curious about something new. It could be someone who likes classical music or someone who likes rock, but I think people who would neither go to rock nor classical will find this incredibly cool. Being in the energy of rock music with my organ playing, together with bass, drums and Joacim's fantastic singing will be something really special that I'm really looking forward to, says Gunnar Idenstam.
When I was asked, it felt so fantastically unexpected and crazy that it was impossible to say no. Adding a grand organ to already grand hard rock songs will create a whole new dimension in the soundscape. When hard rock meets the organ, a majestic roar arises where the sacred and the wild merge, says Joacim Cans.

What breathes more 80s than the magazine Okej, the radio program Tracks and dreams of something bigger? The music and comedy show Pop Dreams is a flirtation with 80s music, aesthetics, glitter and ideals – a real nostalgic evening for those of you who like to look back on the sweet 80s with warmth and reflection.
The show revolves around radio personality Anna Charlotta Gunnarson and journalist Christel Valsinger's own visions from the 80s. Pop Dreams offers anecdotes from the duo's private lives and careers and of course a cavalcade of hit songs and pictures. Many stories evoke laughter and recognition, while several create reflection and new questions about a pop world populated by guys with guitars and undressed girls. For example, where were the brides' instruments on the posters? And did they forget their clothes at home?
In Popdrömmar, Anna Charlotta and Christel meet as hosts and callers in a fictional radio program. Tchaikovsky's many moods – tender, grand, melancholic – are given free rein in Eugene Onegin. The opera is based on Pushkin's iconic verse novel. Similarly, Tchaikovsky took Western European operatic traditions and transformed them into an authentically and indisputably Russian work. At the center of the opera is the young Tatyana, who develops from a sentimental teenager to a consummate woman in one of the most compelling character developments in opera history. Eugene Onegin had its world premiere at the Maly Theatre in Moscow in 1879, with students from the Moscow Conservatory. In 1881, it had its professional premiere at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.

The pop duo Sand & Hallander consists of Emmalisa Hallander and Nina Sand who sing and play self-written Swedish songs with clever lyrics and moving melodies. The debut album Älskar, älskar inte from 2023 was praised by critics and reviewers, and they were compared to ABBA, among others. Now new songs, gems from the first album and exciting newly written material await to be performed with the powerful sound of the big band. Tilde Schweizer, one of Sweden's most prominent young arrangers, is taking care of the arrangements and promises to give the duo's songs a whole new dimension. Tilde is the trombonist who, through her own big band, has managed to create a new interest in both jazz and the big band as a format. She has previously played with the Norrbotten Big Band and this time will be given a more prominent position as arranger for the band.
Artistic director Joakim Milder describes the meeting as elegantly song-making, unpredictable and soulful – an evening filled with music that touches.

The famously feuding couple briefly relive their stormy love, embracing both passion and pain before bidding a final farewell to the world of the living.
Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts the Met premiere of Frank's opera, a confident, richly imaginative composition (The New Yorker), bursting with color and fresh originality (Los Angeles Times). The vibrant new production is directed and choreographed by Deborah Colker, following her acclaimed debut production of Ainadamar in 2024.

Now he is up to date with his long-awaited album Högsbo Riviera (released March 27, 2026), where he refines his soulful soul rock'n'roll – filled with everyday stories, social pathos and melodies that quickly become sing-along favorites. In the Great Hall at Studio Acusticum, the stage is transformed into a tranquil yoga room where yoga mats are rolled out and soft lighting creates a peaceful atmosphere.
During the session, around 30 participants have the opportunity to unwind before the night while the mighty Orgel Acusticum fills the room with its sounds. This unique class is led by Iyengar yoga teacher Marielle Marklund, while organist Christiane Rödder Steiner provides atmospheric music.
The organ, with its impressive 9,000 pipes, extends over three floors and is built of steel, wood and reindeer skin. It has become a central part of the organ yoga, where the bass tones contribute to a meditative and relaxing experience.
After the yoga session, participants are treated to a refreshing health shot before they can step out into the bright, warm summer night – calm, relaxed and filled with new energy. Tickets for Organ Yoga usually sell out quickly, so make sure to book in advance.

Popsicle and Atomic Swing – on the same stage during the 2026 Stockholm International Festival! During a sweaty early summer evening, we enter the blackbox and meet two of the most influential bands of the 90s. Their unique and iconic songs – including Sunkissed and Hey Princess – took the band all the way to Japan for a tour in 1999, before they later called it quits.
There have been a few comeback gigs since then, and now it's finally time again, and at Andreas Mattsson's home arena. Popsicle is coming to the Stockholm International Festival for a banging evening together with the band Atomic Swing, who released new music as recently as 2021. The album A Crash in the Blue (1993) put the band on the map and they are perhaps best known for the song Stone Me Into the Groove. During the Stockholm International Festival, we dare to promise that there will be several classic hits from both Atomic Swing and Popsicle where you are guaranteed to know the lyrics by heart.
