VM in Mormyska fishing

Sweden and Piteå are organizing the World Championship in Mormyska fishing on the southern bay! National teams from many countries, including Estonia, Latvia, Mongolia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Norway and Finland and more, will come to do their best to win!

The Swedish national team was selected through a championship that took place in Piteå last year. This is the first time this type of competition has been organized in Sweden, and the conditions for the competitions have been adapted so that it can finally take place in Sweden.

The World Championship was held in the USA in 2025.
