Showcase Jazz

Welcome to Black Box, Studio Acusticum in Piteå, and the jazz trios' showcase! The graduating students at the Piteå Academy of Music have each put together a twenty-minute program in which they present themselves musically.

Alexander Eriksson:

Periphery

A newly written work with influences from free jazz and Nordic jazz. The music reflects

thoughts about place, belonging and an artistic resistance to centralization.

The guitarist and singer, Douglas Andersson, offers a solo concert:

Hugo Axklo:

Axklo offers pure and simple improvisation!

 

Moa Öhman:

You will hear three compositions that Moa has written during her time at

the Academy of Music. With her on stage, she has absolutely great musicians!
