La Bohème - Live from MET

At first glance, La Bohème is the definitive depiction of the joy of love and the sorrow of loss, but upon closer inspection, the deep emotional meaning hidden in the trivialities of everyday life – a hat, an old coat, a chance meeting with a neighbor – the small details that make up our lives. La Bohème had its world premiere at the Teatro Regio in Turin in 1896. Soprano Juliana Grigoryan stars as the fragile seamstress Mimì, with Freddie De Tommaso as the passionate poet Rodolfo. Keri-Lynn Wilson conducts this unforgettable performance, broadcast live from the Met.
