A boundless performance where poetry, opera, folk music, yoik, tango and her own compositions meet. Carina is the stage artist who was born with her feet deeply rooted in both the Sami and Tornedalen culture. Trained as an opera singer but with roots in folk music, she creates together with Roger Norén's versatility on piano and accordion a musical cross-section from forest, bog and river valley - an evening of Tornedalen melancholy, Finnish melancholy, blackness, humor and Arctic light.

The audience is treated to opera earrings and Viennese melodies in new costumes, traditional folk melodies and her own compositions.
