William Sundman Sääf - Festspelen i Piteå
From a few hundred followers to over 50,000 in just eight weeks – the Swedish song is hotter than ever, and the name on everyone's lips is the young song singer William Sundman Sääf.
William has been compared to legends such as Fred Åkerström and Sven-Bertil Taube, and is praised both for his traditional expression that takes the audience to a bygone era, and for his original and sophisticated interpretations of Swedish music history. He is particularly noted as an interpreter of Carl Michael Bellman, and his albums Sundman tolkar Bellman and Jag kan dig aldrig förglömma have received glowing reviews and great impact in song circles. In 2025, William was awarded the Taube Society's cultural prize for young song musicians, two of his songs were named Best Right Now by Sveriges Radio P2, and he has also appeared live on SVT's Go'kväll.
It will be an evening filled with warmth, presence and Swedish songs that live on from the past to the present. The concert is included in the Festival Pass.
