Piteå Boat museum

Explore our exhibitions on maritime history, industrial heritage, labyrinths, fishing, seal hunting, and the classic Munksund boats. You can also learn about the history of the harbour warehouses, see the steam engine from the tugboat Kraft, and Emil Sandberg’s boatbuilding workshop from 1936.

The museum also features an ongoing construction project of a clinker-built langen boat, with the keel laid and two strakes already completed. A guide and boatbuilder is on site to provide information and answer questions.

At our pier in Västra Kajen Camping & Guest Harbour, you can also view several moored boats.
