Exhibition - Memories with Eva Kitok

Eva Kitok works with textile art in the form of hand embroidery, machine embroidery and applications.
She was born in 1969 in Kiruna.

Her motives often revolves around forgotten events or phenomena that have difficult to find a place in the mainstream media, everything from unpaid women's work and insignificant memory fragments from a childhood to old thumbed movie clips and album covers from the 80s.

She likes to explore the overlooked, the small details and small memories that may represent a larger phenomenon.
