He's been called one of the best, a great showman and so skilled it's impossible not to love his standup. Now the audience favorite Carl Stanley is celebrating ten years as a stand-up comedian with his new solo performance Excuse me Skånska. It will be a stand-up show with humor from the heart, about, among other things, deer, children, jeans, marriage, a theft and becoming an adult for real.
- This is going to be so much fun! When I started standup ten years ago, my goal was to do a solo tour during my career. It feels completely crazy that I am now on my way out on my fourth! It's more than I ever dared to hope for. But now I feel a bit more seasoned and think I'm a better comedian than ever, says Carl Stanley.
Previously, Carl went on the tours Ärligt Talat (2017), Born 1996 (2019-2020) and Akta Huet (2022-2023).
Ursäkta Min Skånska premieres at Lund's city theater on 28/2.
The duration of the performance is approx. 75 minutes without intermission. No age limit, but the show is recommended for ages 16 and up.

We'll have several different food spots available. Please park by the art park, the church, or near Tage's bridge — parking at Pensionatet will be difficult.
It's possible to book a table inside the restaurant, but of course, we're hoping for lots of cozy outdoor vibes too. Put on your warmest sweater and come join us!

Tingsek, or Magnus Tingsek, has since his debut as a 27-year-old released seven albums that combine elements of gospel, soul, jazz and Swedish lyric. His latest album, Home, opens with the rhythmic sound of a Scanian pigeon and reflects his journey towards finding home, both geographically and spiritually. The lead track "Family" expresses his deep love for family and captures a feeling of warmth and closeness.
After a celebrated participation in Norrbotten Big Band's annual concert Soulful December 2019, a continued collaboration has been long-awaited. Now Tingsek's unique sound is combined with the big band's energy in a project where the music has been arranged by, among others, Norrbotten Big Band's artistic director, Joakim Milder.
We are very much looking forward to the collaboration with Tingsek, also because it is an obvious part of Norrbotten Big Band's idea of the organic music scene - where creative, creative meetings can grow, continue and deepen, says Joakim.

A brand new city running race in the middle of Piteå on September 14, 2025. The course is flat, controlled and suitable for all runners regardless of level and ambition. Here you get the chance to run along some of the city's most scenic stretches. The course then ends in the central parts via Sweden's first pedestrian street. The start and finish take place a stone's throw from the center in Badhusparken. In addition to 10 km, a children's race is also offered for the very youngest. They get to take on a nice loop inside Badhusparken of about 500 meters. After the finish line, all participants receive a medal and something good to cool off with. In the main race, great prizes will be raffled off, such as roller skis from Elpex and an overnight stay at Northern Lodges. This operatic gem from one of the great masters of melody is a milestone in the art of singing. The title role of the sleepwalking girl was written for the greatest diva of the time, Giuditta Pasta. The role demands a rare combination of innocence, charm and astonishing vocal virtuosity. Deeper than a comedy, but by no means a tragedy, La Sonnambula reaches its resolution through gripping character development rather than through intrigue or farce. La Sonnambula had its world premiere at the TeatroCarcano in Milan in 1831.
Director Rolando Villazón, who has gone from successful tenor to brilliant director, places the opera in its original setting in the Swiss Alps, while exploring its dreamlike story from a psychological perspective. Riccardo Frizza conducts one of opera's most enchanting compositions in this live performance from the Met.

With over three decades in the service of music, Mattias Alkberg is one of Sweden's most uncompromising and headstrong voices. As a poet, punk, pop craftsman and rock icon, he has constantly moved in the borderland between the brutally honest and the unexpectedly beautiful – often in the same breath.
Alkberg has released over 30 albums over the years, both as a solo artist and with various bands. Agneta Stefansson: jokes about her everyday life and professional life as a 50-plus person, whoops she has turned 60. She likes dialects and does her best to imitate them. In her everyday life she is a TV journalist who works with culture and entertainment and likes to keep track of most local news on stage. In 2019 she won the title of Umeå's funniest.
Zackarias Branzell: A resident of Umeå who, with many years on Comedy stages around Europe, comes to Piteå to offer a good laugh!

One day a dog shows up at the little uncle's house and a friendship is formed. But what happens when your only friend becomes curious about someone else?
In The Tale of the Little Uncle, we meet the uncle, the dog and the girl in a visual experience with lots of warmth, dance, specially written music and not least puppetry!

The goal? To create unique and developing material that both challenges and inspires the band's musicians and audience. This year, the choice is one of the jazz world's most exciting voices - Karmen Rõivassepp.
It's about paving the way for new ways of thinking and creating something really exciting together with the musicians, says the big band's artistic director, Joakim Milder.
Karmen Rõivassepp, an Estonian singer, composer and arranger, has already made a strong impression on the Scandinavian jazz scene.
Before the project, Karmen and the orchestra meet on three occasions to develop ideas and create music that makes both the collective and the individual grow. For Karmen, this is a dream opportunity: - To be able to work with an orchestra like this and in this way is a dream for any artist, she says.
Joakim Milder pays tribute to her latest album Ambivalence:
It is a mature work with a clear artistic language, a strong aesthetic and impressive craftsmanship. In addition, she is a captivating singer. This is something we are really looking forward to.
