Winterswim in Piteå

The cold bath site is located at Västra kajen Camping site in central Piteå. The ice wake itself has a bathing ladder. The wake is kept ice-free and open all winter. The location is fantastic with its piers and harbor buildings and its fine view of Piteå's city skyline.

NOTE important! There are footpaths from the central town most of the way out to the Västra kajen Camping & Gästhamn and you leave the car in the car park directly to the right and you walk the last bit.

How deep is the water where the ladder is placed?
It varies! The bathing ladder is 2 meters long and the last step is near the sloping bottom towards the quay.

Light?
There are lights on site that you plug in if needed, don't forget to unplug both lights when you leave

The cold swimming association Vatten, Vemod & Värme in collaboration with the municipality of Piteå kultur park och fritid and Västra kajen Camping & Gästhamn have arranged this winter-open cold swimming area!
