Böle is a village just outside of Piteå municipality where outdoor life takes centre stage. In Böle, there is proximity to forests and rivers, while still being a bit removed from city life. Signs have been found indicating that fishing, hunting, and agriculture have been present since the Bronze Age, with various archaeological finds dating from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age. An extensive system of trapping pits outside the village is still visible today. There is also a central memorial stone in Böle to commemorate when Crown Prince Karl XV visited the town in 1858.

A company that has made the village famous is Bölebyns Tannery, located right next to the river. The company is known for its genuine leather products. Böle Potatoes and Meat is another significant business located in Böle, which is a family-run enterprise. The company sells freshly grown potatoes and meat from its own farm. Furthermore, there is a school in Böle up to year three with two after-school sections close to nature. The school offers large playground areas, including a hockey rink and football field. In summary, Böle is a peaceful village outside of Piteå with a beautiful environment and a strong sense of community.
